The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change at united Nations says we need to buy locally sourced seasonal food to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases. Also, for example, beef cattle raised on deforestated land is responsible for 12 times more greenhouse gases than cows reared on natural pastures. Also, chocolated and coffeee originating from deforested rainforests produce high greenhouse gases.
